If you’re looking for something to do for New Year’s Eve, there are plenty of options to ring in 2020.
Orillia is hosting its annual free, family-friendly New Year’s Eve extravaganza from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Rotary Place.
There will be interactive games, face painting, rock climbing, a magician, live DJ, and skating.
Then in Barrie, the annual downtown countdown will begin outside City Hall on Collier Street starting at 6pm until midnight.
Enjoy plenty of activities, including:
-Skating on the Circle at the Centre rink
-Horse-drawn wagon rides
-Roaming performers
-Family fun – face painting, Speaking of Wildlife, Snow Valley's mini tube slide, and more
-Bonfire warming zone
-Food vendors
-Fireworks – two shows (7:50p.m. and midnight)

A family celebration called Magical New Year's Eve is being held at the Blue Mountain Village Conference Centre from 5 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. when a family fireworks show will be held. Then, there will be another fireworks display at midnight.
Colltrans bus service in Collingwood is offering free service from 9 P.M. to 2 a.m, while bus service in Wasaga Beach is running until 1 a.m.
