The Barrie Police Service is proud to welcome six new recruits to its ranks at a special badge ceremony today.
The six new Constables have recently completed their basic constable training at the Ontario Police College and will be officially sworn in and receive their police badges during the ceremony.
The ceremony will include members of our Senior Administration, Police Services Board as well as family and friends.
Once they are officially sworn in, these Constables will be paired with a Coach Officer for 12 weeks.
The ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. in the Rotunda at Barrie City Hall at 70 Collier Street.
