The new facility for the Green Haven Shelter for Women in Orillia is finally opening its doors today.
The new 14,000-square-foot shelter in the north end (570 Sundial Drive) replaces the single-family house that had been in operation for the last 28 years.
It will have more beds and programming available all in one facility, offering refuge to women and children.
The Grand Opening will happen at 4:30 p.m.
