Council has adopted a new Strategic Plan for the City of Orillia.
It will serve as a roadmap for decision-making and priority-setting for the next several years.
The plan focuses on six strategic themes, which are:
- Quality of Life
- Healthy Environment
- Vibrant Waterfronts
- Sustainable Growth
- Heritage Core
- Professional, Progressive City
The themes were established through several planning sessions with Council and staff and various public consultation opportunities this past fall, including an online survey, focus groups, public meeting and visioning boards at public facilities.
Each theme includes strategic goals to support the City in achieving its new vision and mission.
