Hidden Valley Ski Resort in Huntsville is opening for the season today.
It will have two lifts open and as many trails as possible, as well as a small terrain park.
The resort opens at 9am.
Meanwhile, Arrowhead Park alslo opens today but not the Ice Skating Trail.
Officials say they hope to have the trail open for the first week of January, depending on weather conditions.
However, the provincial park is also regarded as one of the top cross country ski destinations in the province, which also features a number of snowshoeing trails, and a tubing hill.
