A no-board report has been issued by the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association.
That means Catholic teachers will be in a legal strike position as of December 21.
The union says it has two days of bargaining scheduled with the province this week, and two more next week, so it sincerely hopes the government’s negotiating team will come to the table with a mandate to abandon the cuts and reach an agreement.

Meanwhile, it is business as usual in high schools across the province today after a one-day strike by Ontario’s public high school teachers.
The Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation held a one-day strike yesterday, after contract talks broke down with the Ontario Government and no new talks are scheduled.
