This is the final week for the Fill A Purse For A Sister Campaign.
It is dedicated to providing comfort to women through the collecting and sharing of new and gently used purses filled with personal necessities.
Purses collected for the Fill A Purse For A Sister Campaign are distributed to women’s shelters, social service agencies and crisis centres.
Contents can include items such as: feminine hygiene products, tissues, shampoo/conditioner, a toothbrush/toothpaste, a hair brush, gloves, a hat, a scarf, lip balm, makeup, etc.
Towns and cities participating in the campaign include: Bradford, Innisfill, Barrie, Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Orillia, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, and Thornton, among others.
This years campaign will end on Sunday, December 1.
