Barrie police are looking for the public's help to identify a woman in an assault investigation.
Police say on Friday afternoon, a woman entered the Circle K at 151 Bayfield Street, where she allegedly threw hot coffee in the face of the stores' employee before fleeing the scene.
Investigators say the same woman had been in the store a few days earlier and had left the store without paying for a cup of coffee.
The woman is believed to be in her 30's, approximately 5'6″ tall, with a medium build and dark hair.
She was wearing blue jeans, a maroon jacket, winter boots, while carrying a green reusable shopping bag and a grey and white purse.
