The W.O.A.A. held their 75th Annual General Meeting on Tuesday night.
The O.M. Mike Weichel Honour Award recipient for 2019 was Randy Alton from Lucknow.
The W.O.A.A. David H. Jacobi Memorial President’s Award recipient was Dave Garinger of Owen Sound.
The Donald & Mary Gravett Memorial Bursary Award went to Mackenzie ” Mac ” Fisher from Teeswater.
It was also announced that the WOAA has been selected to be inducted into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame to receive the Sandy Hawley Community Service Award.
The induction ceremony will be on Monday, October 21st, 2019 at the Sheraton Centre Hotel in Toronto,
