Hard rains to the north of Bracebridge have officials worried today as they deal with the ongoing flooding emergency.
At a press conference at Bracebridge Town Hall, Mayor Graydon Smith reinforced the safety message, saying residents who are isolated by flooding should call 211 if they need someone to come and get them.
Residents are to call 911 in the case of life-threatening emergencies… (above audio)
Bracebridge’s Mayor admits the town has too many low-lying roads.
Sandbags are available at 1206 Rosewarne Drive in Bracebridge 24 hrs a day if residents need them.
