There is a flood warning in effect for Parry Sound/ Muskoka thanks to heavy rain Friday and a significant amount of snow melt.
Some low-lying areas have flooded, including several roads. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says banks and shorelines adjacent to water bodies are slippery and unstable.
The warning will be in effect at least until Wednesday.
The flooding has prompted at least two road closures:
Muskoka Road 3 or Aspdin Road is closed between Hekkla Road and Gross Road in Muskoka Lakes township.
The OPP and fire crews had to rescue several people there Friday whose vehicle became trapped in the water.
There's also a washout on Ravenscliffe Road in Huntsville. It's closed between Tipper Lane and Rowan Drive.
