Some downtown locations are getting a boost from City grants in Orillia.
Mariposa Market has received $25,000 to allow for renos that above the market and scent shop to host new restaurant and retail space.
The owner of 27 Mississauga St. W has received $62,500 to help create two fully accessible commercial units and six new residential units and window and door replacements.
Mayor Steve Clarke says the Community Improvement Grant Program proves that for every dollar invested by the municipality, they see five-dollars in downtown improvements.
