Doug Ford's Conservative Government has revealed its first budget.
Finance Minister Vic Fedeli says it puts the people first.
At Queen's Park Thursday afternoon Fedeli said the budget starts Ontario down a path towards balance while protecting vital services like health care and education.
He also received applause for another aspect of the new budget… (above audio)
Fedeli adds that the budget will attract business and create jobs in Ontario.
Thoughtful and measured, he said it will return accountability and trust and help return Ontario to fiscal balance.
As an example, he said there is an 8 cents savings for every dollar spent in the budget.
