A 24-year-old Orillia man is facing a dozen charges following a vehicle stop in Innisfil.
On Tuesday around 11:30 a.m., police investigated a vehicle with a flat tire parked on the side of 5th Sideroad at the 4th Line.
The licence plates on the vehicle were stolen. and a man was arrested at the scene for possession of stolen property.
He provided information to police which prompted a search involving K9 and multiple officers for the supposed driver of the vehicle.
No driver was found and the search was eventually called off.
As a result of further investigation, the man was subsequently charged with numerous offences, including possession of stolen property, public mischief and driving while under suspension.
