Mild temperatures means melting ice but not everbody seems to understand that.
Orillia OPP say numerous people were seen walking on ice on Lake Couchiching over the weekend despite double digit temperatures.
Police are warning the public to exercise caution near bodies of water that presently have ice on them.
The ice may not be capable of supporting any weight.
