An Orillia man has been charged in connection with a pair robberies in the city that happened early Tuesday morning less than an hour apart.
Police received a call about a robbery at a business on Westmount Drive by a man who appeared to have a gun.
About 40 minutes later, another robbery call at a business on Atherley Road.
Soon after that, there was a report of a man who fueled up a vehicle on West Street South, then entered the store and grabbed a few items without paying.
A 32 year old is facing eight charges, among them, two counts each of theft and armed robbery.
