Two Simcoe County residents are among three men arrested following an international drug investigation in which police seized 55 kilograms of cocaine, with a street value of $5.5 million.
Police say Project Tattler began in December 2017, and that investigators gathered evidence of people smuggling cocaine from the US into Canada and then distributing it throughout central and western Ontario and in the GTA.
They said money also flowed back to Mexico.
Police also seized $800,00 in Canadian currency, as well as a pick-up truck, a tractor trailer and three off-road vehicles.
Facing 14 charges is a 35 year old from Springwater Township, a 32 year old year old from New Tecumseth, and a 44 year old from Kitchener-Waterloo.
