Canadians are set to hit the federal election polls October 21st, and it could be a tough battle for the governing Liberals.
Bayshore Broadcasting News asked who you would vote for, if the federal election were held today.
Of the 421 respondents, 58 per cent say they will vote for the Conservative Party of Canada.
One voter called for stronger support of oil pipelines from Ottawa, while others cite the federal Liberal's spending as a reason to vote for the Tories.
Meantime, the Liberal Party of Canada captured 27 per cent of those who responded.
Grit supporters point to a rise of “white supremacists” as a concern, while other point to a lack of trust in Conservative leader Andrew Scheer.
The Green Party of Canada picked up six per cent of votes, with the New Democratic Party and the People's Party each receiving 4 per cent.
1 per cent of respondents say they will vote for an independent party, while another 1 per cent say they will not vote.
