Hooded and handcuffed.
More details are emerging about kidnapping victim Wanzhen Lu’s recent ordeal before being discovered in Gravenhurst Tuesday night.
CityNews reporting an interview with the local resident who came upon Lu at the end of his driveway before 9 pm last night
The man, which City reported did not want to be named, said he was letting his dog out for its nightly business when he heard a voice coming from the street. It turned out to be Lu seeking assistance – the man quickly brought him into his home after calling 911.
According to the report, Lu told him he had been hooded and handcuffed. Lu apparently did not have any idea about where he was after being released by his captors.
York Regional Police are conducting an evidence search today in the same area and had closed Doe Lake Road to Tomingas Road for the duration while watching vehicles leaving the area.
OPP say a canine search was also executed in the vicinity last night.
The hunt remains on for Lu’s four alleged captors, after Lu was tazed in an underground parking lot and put into a minivan Saturday in Markham.
More details as they become available.
