OPP have identified the two boys who died after the snowmobiles they were on plunged through ice and into water at Lighthouse Narrows on Lake Muskoka.
Police continue to investigate the incident, which occurred early Monday.
They say three snowmobiles were involved and five people were riding them.
Police say 15 year old Alexander Martin of Gravenhurst and 11 year-old Mitchell Paris of Bracebridge, who were cousins, lost their lives.
Three others – a 31-year-old Bracebridge man, a 37-year-old Gravenhurst man and a 14-year-old Gravenhurst boy were able to get to shore.
