Barrie police have charged a 19 year old after a robbery spree.
Police allege he tried to rob a Bayfield street restaurant yesterday but didn't get any money— he then tried to hold up a hair salon across the street but again fled with nothing.
He was arrested nearby– and also faces charges relating to a couple of robberies a day earlier in the same area of the city.
In those cases a convenience store and a pet store were robbed of cash by a man wielding a knife. He faces a total of 16 charges.
