Springwater Township council has approved its 2019 budget.
Homeowners will see a 1.93 percent increase in the township portion of their municipal property taxes.
When that is combined with the County of Simcoe's two percent tax increase, education taxes and the increasing policing charge, the blended tax hike is estimated at 1.76 percent.
That means 67 dollars more on an average property valued at just over 451 thousand dollars.
