Simcoe-Grey MPP Jim Wilson is back to work.
Wilson has released a statement saying he was in the Ontario Legislature as it resumed sitting following the winter break this week.
He says it has been a difficult few months for him on a personal level and adds that representing Simcoe-Grey no matter where his seat is in the Legislature is a job that he loves and will do to the best of his ability.
Wilson says his constituents can continue contacting him and his office with any issues.
He adds that his top priorities remain the redevelopments of the Collingwood and Alliston hospitals.
In November, Wilson resigned as Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation, and Trade saying he would be seeking treatment for addiction issues.
This is also the time sexual misconduct allegations were made by a male Queen's Park staffer against Wilson.
