Barrie Police are investigating an early morning death on Penvill Trail.
Officers went to a house just before 6 a.m. Tuesday where they found an injured man.
He was taken to hospital and pronounced dead.
A news release says officers have a person in custody and the Homicide Unit is in charge of the investigation.
No names have been released.
