An area police service has decided to continue naming motorists charged with impaired driving.
South Simcoe Police in Innisfil and Bradford started reporting the names of accused impaired drivers in December and it was to be on a temporary basis.
Police results from the local Festive RIDE program have prompted them to continue the practice.
The naming decision was designed to hopefully act as a deterrent.
The policy was only four weeks old and police will continue naming impaired driving suspects for a longer period of time in order to better gauge the possible impact
