A 69 year old man has been charged with attempted murder after officers swarmed a residence on the 10th Line of Oro-Medonte on Wednesday in response to a report of a shooting.
34 year old Lee William Lackey is in hospital with life-threatening injuires.
The suspect, Peter Vanderveen, is due in court next week.
