Unionized workers at Casino Rama have voted 72 percent in favour of a new three-year contract.
Fourteen hundred Unifor members are covered by the deal, which was reached Thursday, just as the employees were poised to go on strike. The local 1090 members include slot workers, dealers, food/beverage staff, and cashiers. They spent the day Saturday voting on the tentative contract.
