The Ford government is sending over $2.7 million to hospitals in north Simcoe County to upgrade, repair and maintain their facilities.
Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital and Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland will get the lion's share, just over $1 million each.
Waypoint Centre for Mental Health in Penetanguishene will get a little over $633,000.
The government says the funding will allow hospitals to address urgent issues, including upgrades or replacements of roofs, windows, heating and air conditioning systems, as well as other repairs.
