CTV news reporting that two men have been arrested in connection with the case of extortion involving Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Tony Clement.
According to the report, two men, identified by the initials CH and DML were detained by members of a cyber crimes unit in the Ivory Coast last month.
Clement now sits as an independent after announcing in November he was being targeted by an extortionist after he sent sexually explicit pictures and video of himself to someone he thought was a consenting female adult.
Clement was removed from Conservative caucus after later admitting to inappropriate exchanges online.
