Barrie Police are appealing to the public after a report about a male who had attended two financial institutions in the City and fraudulently obtained money.
On Thursday, a man entered two Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) locations in Barrie and presented fraudulent identification. This allowed the individual to gain access to another person’s bank account which resulted in the withdrawal of funds on both occasions.
The suspect, who police are trying to identify and whose image was captured on video surveillance, is described as:
Male white, 50-60 years of age, approximately 6 feet tall, medium build, dark hair, unshaven, wearing glasses, dark pants, black suit jacket and a white shirt.
