Union members at Casino Rama have given thumbs up to strike action.
95 per cent of the Unifor members voted on Saturday to give their bargaining committee a strike mandate if negotiations between the union and the operator of Casino Rama ( Gateway Casinos and Entertainment) do not make headway.
The union represents more than 14-hundred slot workers, cashiers, dealers, food/beverage staff and others.
Unifor says a strike is a last resort.
