A 35-year-old Innisfil man is charged with Assault and Forcible Confinement after a verbal dispute with his common-law girlfriend turned physical.
On Sunday, January 13 at 11 pm police received a 911 call regarding an assault. Officers responded to a home in Innisfil where they learned that a 27-year-old woman had been assaulted and prevented from
leaving the abode.
As a result, a 35-year-old Innisfil man was arrested and charged. He was released with a February court date.
Police remind that any type of domestic violence is not okay.
