The driver of an SUV involved in a three-vehicle collision last night (THURS) near Port Carling has been airlifted to Sunnybrook Hospital.
The collision happened in the area of Highway 118 and Brackenrig Road around 5:30 p.m..
OPP say one of the vehicles fishtailed, lost control and veered into the rear wheels of an oncoming tractor trailer.
The truck jacknifed and struck another vehicle, forcing it into the ditch.
Muskoka Lakes Fire extricated the driver, who was eventually airlifted to Toronto.
Police say ice roads were a factor in the collision.
