A 23-year-old woman has been charged with three counts of assault and one count of assault with a weapon after police were called to an Innisfil home.
On New Years Day around 11 a.m., South Simcoe Police responded to a report of an assault on a 22-year-old man by his common-law partner.
When they arrived, they learned the victim had been assaulted during an altercation and some of his property had also been damaged. The woman was also charged with two counts of Mischief Under $5,000.
The accused was released with a future court date.
