Frugality will be under the Christmas tree for more households this season.
In our latest online poll, Bayshore Broadcasting News asked whether you planned to spend more, or less money this Christmas, compared to last year.
A resounding 58 per cent of respondents said less money would be spent for Santa's arrival.
While some voters say they are earning less, others say the rising cost of living is prohibiting them from spending any additional money on gifts.
Meantime, 42 per cent of participants say they will spend the same amount on gifts for Christmas 2018.
Not a single respondent said they would spend more this holiday season.
