Hugo Leufvenius scored in regulation and potted the shootout winner for the Sting.
The goal by Leufvenius was his 20th of the season and extended his point streak to 16 consecutive games.
Jamieson Rees, Alexandre Hogue and Adam Ruzicka also scored for Sarnia who beat London for the first time in 4 tries this season.
Ethan Langevin stopped all three shootout attempts by the Knights
Josh Nelson, Gerard Keane, Connor McMichael and Paul Cotter scored for the Knights who were without Evan Bouchard, Alex Formenton and Liam Foudy.
Bouchard, Formenton & Foudy are at the Canadian National Junior Team Selection Camp.
