A Burks Falls woman is facing a shoplifting charge in Alliston.
On Friday, police responded to a local retail store there around 5 p.m. for a report of a theft.
A loss prevention officer had apprehended a shoplifter.
Police say the 35-year-old female from Burks Falls had stolen over $100 in cosmetics and electronics from the store.
She was arrested and charged with Theft under $5000 and was also banned from entering the store in the future.
The accused has a future court date in Bradford.
