There is a wheelchair shortage at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital.
Officials are hoping residents will use Giving Tuesday on November 27 to help purchase new wheelchairs for patients.
The shortage is impacting some of the busiest departments, including Emergency and the Outpatient Fracture Clinic.
All gifts to the wheelchair campaign between now and the end of November will be matched by Subaru of Orillia.
The hospital hopes to secure 20 brand new wheelchairs, which cost $500 each.
