Orillia has made the 2018 Culture Days Top Ten Lists that rank communities with the most registered activities over the Culture Days weekend.
The annual Top Ten Lists provide both an overall ranking of communities, along with three lists segmented by population size.
Orillia placed sixth among communities with a population of under 50,000.
This year, the City partnered with the Orillia Public Library to expand its “How-To Festival” across Doors Open sites and cultural venues.
More than 40 interactive experiences were offered to the public for free on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018.
Mayor Steve Clarke says ranking the Top Ten Lists demonstrates the strength and vibrancy of this cultural community.
He says “this is validation that Orillia is truly a wonderful creative hub on the national stage.”
