There is an online petition calling for Tony Clement to resign as MP for Parry Sound-Muskoka.
Women's March Muskoka launched the petition on Facebook in the wake of Clement's sexting scandal, in which the Conservative politician claimed he was the victim of extortion, after he sent sexually explicit images and a video to a stranger.
The petition says if Clement is no longer fit to serve on key parliamentary committees, or as a member of his party's caucus, then he is clearly unfit to serve as MP for Parry Sound-Muskoka.
Clement has said he will not resign.
The petition aims to gather 500 names.
