Young people from Wasaga Beach to Orillia and Huntsville will be getting more help to get job skills training.
The federal government announced on Monday that it will provide over 6.5 million dollars over two years to the YMCA of Simcoe Muskoka for its Youth Quest project.
Over this time, as many as six hundred young people will get training through work experience in Wasaga Beach, Barrie, Bradford, Orillia and Huntsville.
They will be placed in fields including construction, manufacturing, retail, accommodation, food service and general office and customer service.
