Remembrance Day is around the corner and the Simcoe County Archives has launched the first consolidated First World War honour roll to recognize the fallen men and women who had connections to Simcoe County.
This virtual memorial contains the names of 1,000 men and women who died while in service or as a result of injuries sustained during the war.
It's called “Simcoe County Remembers.”
Given the scope of the research, the County encourages residents to contact us about any known missing names and/or docmentation errors at archives@simcoe.ca or 705-726-9331.
