Durham Regional Police are investigating a robbery at a legal marijuana grow-op in Beaverton.
Five armed men went to a property on Concession Road 4 at Highway 12 around 6 Thursday morning.
They approached four workers who were later bound, locked in a security trailer, and had their personal belongings taken.
The men then grabbed several garbage bags containing dried marijuana from a storage barn.
The suspects then fled in a vehicle belonging to one of the workers.
It was later found a distance away.
The workers were able to free themselves and notified police.
The first suspect is described as white, 40 to 45 years of age, 5-foot-10, 140 pounds, with short grey hair, and spoke with a French accent.
The second suspect is white, 32 to 35 years old, 5-foot-10, 150 pounds, with short black hair, a full beard, and was wearing a ski mask.
There were no descriptions of the other male suspects.
