Lakehead University is out with a policy regarding recreational marijuana use on campus.
It states that no one shall grow or cultivate marijuana on university property which includes campus buildings, residences, and all public spaces.
It goes on to say that smoking marijuana anywhere on the property for recreational purposes is prohibited, marijuana use for medicinal purposes will be allowed.
Lakehead joins Georgian College in coming up with a policy on marijuana use on campus.
This comes as recreational marijuana use becomes legal in Canada this Wednesday (17th).
