A man reported to be armed with a gun and in crisis at a home in Innisfil resulted in a standoff with South Simcoe Police.
Officers were called to the residence in the area of Belle Aire Beach Road and Maple Road around 3:30 Tuesday morning.
Police contained scene as crisis negotiators spoke with the man through a window.
Just before 6 a.m., the man was arrested after going into the garage and lighting a fire.
The man faces 10 charges including 3 counts of posession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
