Speed leading to drug possession charges.
A South Simcoe Police officer clocked a vehicle passing by on the northbound lanes of Highway 400 at 150 km/h in a posted 100 km/h zone Saturday afternoon around 3:45.
The vehicle was stopped on the 400 at the 4th Line.
The officer noticed the smell of marijuana inside the vehicle and conducted a search where a quantity of marijuana was seized.
The 19-year-old man from Mississauga was arrested but later released at the roadside with a November court date.
