An alleged member of the Crips street gang who was arrested in Wasaga Beach earlier this month has been released on bail, even though the prosecution tried to keep him locked up for community safety.
The 20 year old Brampton man was arrested last week.
Police said he had a loaded gun, as well as a large quantity of cocaine and digital scales.
The suspect is under house arrest and is banned from being in Simcoe County except for court appearances.
