The heat and humidity did not deter nearly 500 participants and volunteeers who raised more than $37,000 at the Terry Fox Run in Orillia.
The annual goal of one dollar per Orillia resident was surpassed for the 10th straight year.
That pushed the total Orillia Terry Fox community runs have raised for the Terry Fox Foundation since 1988 to more than $722,000.
