Jason Willms scored the game winner for Barrie with just under 7 minutes to play as the Colts overcame a 3-2 deficit to post the win.
Luke Bignell had the game tying goal while Ryan Suzuki and Justin Murray also scored in the victory.
Joey Keane and overage Lucas Chiodo each recorded a pair of assists as Barrie improved to 2 & 1 in the pre-season.
Anthony Tabak, Blake Murray and Shane Bulitka scored for the Wolves who have lost all 3 of their exhibition games.
The Owen Sound Attack will conclude their preseason with a home & home set against North Bay September 15th & 16th
The regular season opener for the Attack is September 20th at Barrie
