Police discovered a stolen vehicle during a traffic stop in Essa Township.
A Nottawasaga OPP officer was using radar on County Road 90, west of the 5th Line, around 11 o'clock on Wednesday morning.
The officer saw a speeding car and pulled it over only to discover it had been stolen from the Region of Peel.
The woman behind the wheel and a male passenger were arrested and taken into custody.
The 41 year old woman from Mississauga and 37 year old man of no fixed address are being investigated for possession of stolen property and are at the detachment office waiting for a bail hearing.
